Angela Berry Owner / Coordinator
Angela is a co-owner of Berry Acres. She is the face and voice that will be present throughout the wedding planning process until the last guest leaves on the wedding day. Angela is the facilitator of your dreams! She helps to plan and execute every detail of the special day while adding a flair of fun with her MCing at the reception. Angela’s passion for Berry Acres and all that she does, translates into a wonderful, full-service experience for all wedding parties, transforming the relationship from client to friend.
Alan Berry Owner / Pyrotechnician
Alan is a co-owner of Berry Acres and also wears many hats. He DJs, MCs, keeps the landscape beautiful and maintains the facility. Alan often pops into tours in his work pants and grease-stained shirt to say hi. At other times, he is happy to get spiffed up for wedding festivities and treat the bride and groom like royalty, catering to their every need, while making them laugh. Alan is also known to awe the wedding guests with an incredible, remote lit fireworks extravaganza. If a bride has a dream concept for her wedding day, Alan’s visionary talents make it a reality.
Jazmyn Coordinator / Office Manager
Jazmyn joined the family in July of 2016 and quickly became Angela’s right-hand gal. She is the marketing coordinator, office manager and helps coordinate events at Berry Acres and The Hilltop. Jazmyn has a deep love for weddings. Her favorite things about the wedding day are the beautiful moments in a ceremony – the buildup of the entrance, the music and the vows. Jazmyn is the one who will ensure that no detail is overlooked on your wedding day.
BK Executive Chef
BK has been with Berry Acres since day one! He is an award-winning chef who has been cooking for over 30 years. From American Royal BBQ to a restaurant at the Missouri State Fair, BK makes folks happy all over the state with his food! He offers Berry Acres a customizable wedding menu and has received raving reviews from all our brides and grooms.
Joe Disc Jockey
Joe is one of our great DJs. He consistently keeps up with the newest music trends and makes sure everyone has a turn on the dance floor, regardless of age or genre preference. Joe gets his energy from a great dancing crowd. He loves seeing folks on the dance floor!
Judy Flower Girl
Judy is our very own personal flower girl – meaning, she’s the lady who takes care of the flower landscaping. Judy is very diligent about watering and making Berry Acres look beautiful! The venue just wouldn’t be the same without her passion for gardening and her loving touch.
Event Staff Our Family
Our event staff includes kitchen workers, bartenders, servers and a bussing staff. These wonderful, kind hearted people have full-time jobs during the week and come to work at Berry Acres on the weekends because they too love weddings, enjoy taking care of people and appreciate the family-style atmosphere.
