Something to Add to Your Wedding Day Timeline

One thing that is unfortunately true about all wedding days, is that your special day is going to go by so fast! With all the festivities, you are going to constantly be pulled in many directions. You might be pulled for pictures or your planner/ coordinator will be ready for whatever is next on the timeline. And this day being a day that is so anticipated, you will want to soak up every detail. You might want to consider intentionally carving out some time in your wedding day timeline to just be with your soon to be spouse so you can remember the significance of the day! Whether that is having a private dinner or getting ready with each other in the morning or a private vow exchange along with the first look at the beginning of the day.

At Berry Acres, we are all for “first looks” on a wedding day. A “first look” with your spouse all dressed up, a time to hug, chat and even kiss your person! This is mostly for the timeline’s sake so that photos can be almost finished before the ceremony but also to give you and your significant-other more moments together.

A trend that we have seen going around is that couples will get ready with each other in the morning! This will be a good chance to have breakfast with each other, jam to music, do a bible study and just enjoy getting dressed up for the day that celebrates your new beginning. We have a couple of big private bathrooms at Berry Acres that are a great separate space from the groom and bridal suites for you and your soon-to-be spouse to have for yourselves.

Going out for some sunset photos is also a great opportunity for you to get a break away from the reception for a moment and get some incredible photos that you both can look back on. We like to call these photos the “money shots”!

Many of our couples at Berry Acres choose to add extra hours onto our 5 hour rental package to make sure that they get plenty of time with guests, for pictures and to be able to incorporate personal time. This is something to consider when discussing with your coordinator. And we’d love to be that day-of coordinator for you. :) Have you inquired about what ways Angela and Emma can assist you on your wedding day?
